Overview

Quote Commander ("we", "our", "the app") helps contractors turn voice recordings and job-site photos into professional quotes. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is protected.

Data We Collect

• Account information — name, email address, company name, trade type, and estimating preferences (hourly rate, tax rate, markup) you provide at signup or in Settings.
• Voice recordings — audio you record with the microphone is transcribed and analyzed by AI to generate quote line items. Recordings are processed for this purpose only.
• Job-site photos — photos you upload are analyzed by AI to infer measurements and visible scope of work.
• Quote data — line items, pricing, client names/emails, and e-signatures collected through the client portal.
• Billing information — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

How We Use Your Data

• To transcribe voice recordings and analyze photos into quote line items.
• To generate, send, and track proposals and e-signatures.
• To process subscription payments and manage your trial or plan.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your recordings, photos, or quotes to train AI models for other customers.

Service Providers

We share data only with the processors needed to run the app:

• Cloud database and authentication provider (account and quote storage).
• AI processing provider (voice transcription and photo analysis).
• Stripe (payment processing).

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your profile, quotes, and associated data. Signed proposals may be retained as required for legal and record-keeping purposes.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted per account using row-level security. Public quote links are only accessible via unguessable URLs that you share with your clients.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@myquotecommander.com.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
